What you’re seeing is the live-feed monitor that shows the camera operators and script supervisor what’s being captured, and is usually located a few feet away from the actual action.

About Maher

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Maher’s contributions to the Canadian Film & TV industries extend beyond the screen, including joining the team of A Last Push for Love, as an Associate Producer. Sadly, there was no need for explosions or fire in this production, but as a licensed Pyrotechnican, he was keen on trying to modify the script to include something that goes boom!

As a member of ACTRA (the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television & Radio Artists), Maher typically works as an uncredited Background Performer in and around the Toronto area, with an additional credited appearance in 2023’s upcoming motion picture entitled BlackBerry. (Dir. Matt Johnson, Jay Baruchel, Glen Howerton).

When not on-screen, behind the camera or in the production office, Maher can be heard lending his voice to some of Canada’s largest brands as a voice-over artist, and on social media as an independent content creator.
