About David Frisch
David Frisch grew up in Toronto, attended university in Boston and continued on to complete graduate work in Chicago and California. Many Canadians will recognize his face from the stage and screen; Among a long list of stage credits, on-screen credits include Anne with an E, Being Erica, and Death Race.
A true comedic masterpiece, we are excited to feature David in the role of Morty – the slightly eccentric and over-the-top father of the bride.
About Theresa Tova
Affectionately referred to on-set as Tova, this multi-award-winning actress and playwright hails from a hometown of Calgary, Alberta after immigrating from France. Born to Polish Jewish survivors of the Holocaust, Tova’s award-winning musical play entitled Still the Night echoes her captivating performances on-stage and on the screen as an authentic representation of cultural talent.
In 2017, Tova was elected president of the Toronto chapter of ACTRA (the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists) and was recently nominated for an award for her performance in For the Record. Exocet Productions is proud to feature Mrs. Tova in the role of Sylvia – the loving and caring mother of the bride who’s cultural wit can out laugh any stressful situation.
